Embargo on Ukrainian cheese in Russia also applies to Crimea, Interfax reports with reference to the head of Rospotrebnadzor, chief sanitary doctor of Russia, Anna Popova. "Supplies of JSC "Piryatinsky Syrokombinat" to the Republic of the Crimea and to Sevastopol, the city of federal significance, were suspended," she said, adding that at the time of suspension, it was the only Ukrainian factory, which supplied Crimea with cheese. The ban is associated with serious disorders. "Once again, we are talking about number of Ukrainian manufacturers, which violate the legislation in the field of consumer protection and counterfeiting," the head of Rospotrebnadzor said.
As of today, in Russia there is a ban on the importation of dairy products of the most Ukrainian producers.
