The house known for Victor Tsoi’s museum Kamchatka might be rearranged into a hotel.
Negotiations with potential investors are now being carried out about this historical building at the address 15, Blochina Street in St. Petersburg. In particular, the competitive documentation has already been taken by three companies. The competition is scheduled to take place on May 16.
The competition will be organized in the framework of the Resettling Communal Flats in St. Petersburg program. It is supposed that one half of the house apartments will be resettled by the investor, and another one by the city. About 70 apartments are reserved for these purposes in the funds of St. Petersburg.
At the same time it has been declared that Victor Tsoi’s underground museum is inviolable.
The Kamchatka boiler is a cult place of Russian rock music in the center of Petersburg; this is where Victor Tsoi, Alexander Bashlachev, Svyatoslav Zadery, Andrey Mashnin and others worked as firemen.
