Rosneft Will Increase Dividends From Profits

Rosneft plans to increase dividends from profits by 60%.

      Russian Rosneft oil company, one of the first among Russian companies began to pay out dividends in the amount of 25% of profit under IFRS, the head of the oil company, Igor Sechin stated in interview to Izvestiya. "We are keeping up with this practice: dividends will grow by almost 60%, up to 12.85 rubles per share. We will submit for payments more than 136 billion rubles in total, " he said, noting that in one year Rosneft "has grown with new shareholders."

      According to him, during the integration with TNK-BP most of minor shareholders of RN-Holding bought Rosneft stocks of their own free will. "I would like to thank them for their decision and to assure that we will do our best to justify the trust", Mr. Sechin assured.
