In the next three months Russia will perform about fifteen space launches from five spaceports.
"In May, June and July it is planned to carry out five launches. Seven of the fifteen launches will be made from the Baikonur Cosmodrome that Russia rents from Kazakhstan; five from the Plesetsk spaceport in the Arkhangelsk Oblast and one from Kourou, mobile platform in the Pacific Ocean and from the Dombarovsky testing area in the Orenburg Oblast," the source noted.
Since the beginning of 2014 there were carried out 23 space launches in the world: nine by Russia; seven by the United States; two by India and Arianespace company and one by Japan, China and Israel each.
