From June 4 to June 8 Nizhny Novgorod will be hosting the Big Animated Film Festival the largest international animation festival in Russia.

      For the third time Big Animated Film Festival will present programs of the best Russian and foreign animation in Nizhny Novgorod. The traditionally held Animated Film Factory will introduce visitors to innovative and unusual techniques, including chalk animation, freeze light, Lego-animation and others.

      The special guest of the festival in Voronezh the well-known film director Maria Muat - is going to give a workshop in the Petrovsky Book Club. The workshop participants will see a selection of the directors best works, see dolls from her animated films and learn the principles of creating stop motion animation.
