In Moscow, staying and entering of citizens in the forests with high probability of wildfires to be restricted on May holidays. Respected order was signed by the regional Forestry Committee.

      "If there will be a sunny weather, favoring staying of Moscow and Moscow region residents in the nature, the number of wildfires caused by summer residents and vacationers can increase dramatically," Deputy Prime Minister of the oblast, Dmitry Pestov said.

      A high level of fire danger is caused by winter with little snow. This year spring flooding happened 20 days earlier the annual averages. Moisture level from the average standards was only 30 %. Spring and summer were predicted also dry. Moscow Oblast Government takes measures to reduce the risks of wildfire. Forests were equipped with more than 2000 kilometers of mineralized bands, 2000 boom barriers set at the forest entrances and with 3500 of warning and prohibition signs.
