New Underground Pedestrian Crossing Near The Slavyanskiy Bulvar Metro Station

Ñoncreting of monolithic structures of the new underground pedestrian crossing near the Slavyanskiy Bulvar metro station on Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line of the Moscow Metro is coming to an end, the press service of the Moscow department of construction reports.

      Underground passage opens for citizens in late May. Decoration of one of the walls, specially roped off from foot traffic for this purpose, will be carried out simultaneously. Construction of an underground pedestrian crossing near Slavyanskiy Bulvar metro station is carried out as part of the reconstruction of Mozhaiskoye Highway, because of local extensions of the roadway and the formation of alternatives for Kutuzovsky Avenue and Mozhaiskoye Highway. Passage length will be 106 m, the width 8 meters.
