Construction of Belomorskaya station of Zamoskvoretskaya Moscow metro line will start in 2017 and will take from 2 to 2.5 years, Deputy Mayor Marat Khusnullin announced to the reporters on Tuesday.
"Belomorskaya station will be built, but later. During designing and construction, we are building into them such a technical possibility. Now we are advancing with the barrier from Rechnoy Vokzal to Hovrino without constructing the station," Mr. Khusnullin said. He reminded that there are 950 meters from the station placement to Rechnoy Vokzal and 1200 meters to the future Hovrino station.
"Actually, the so-called wave of indignation, - according to our operational information, - is raised by realtors. Since there has grown a large residential quarter, realtors promised residents that there will be a subway close to their homes," Mr. Khusnullin stated. He recalled that the construction of Belomorskaya station in the normal execution cost about 3.5 billion rubles, but with the additional works the project cost can raise in price by another 1.2-1.5 billion rubles. Deputy Mayor associated the complexity of construction of Belomorskaya station with boulders located at a depth of 15-20 meters.
