According to the annual report of St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko to the Legislative Assembly, in the next three years it will be spent 73 billion rubles for the construction of St. Petersburg metro. He noted that the pace of construction of the St. Petersburg metro will grow regardless of the economic situation.
According to him, four subway lines are being developed at once for the first time in more than 30 years. Relatively prosperous year of 2013 provided us with, certainly, the last chance to pay an old debt to the residents of many districts. And we are not going to miss this chance,” Mr. Poltavchenko said.
