The first ever Russian Mustard Museum will be opened on May 17 in the Old Sarepta memorial estate in the Volgograd Region.
The ceremony will be timed to the large-scale event Long Night of the Museums.
Volgograd lands are the homeland of Russian mustard. Mustard production is one of the important achievements of the colonists of Sarepta. Their mustard took a place of honor in the Russian cuisine.
The Russian Mustard Museum will be housed in the exhibition hall of the Goldbach House. The museum opening will be celebrated with Russian folk style festivities from 7pm to 8 pm in the Svoboda Square in front of the memorial estate office building.
