The birthday of the rock star Alexander Bashlachev will be celebrated in a big way in Cherepovets.

      Rock music lovers will rejoice at two large-scale festivals in memory of the legendary singer and songwriter.

      The first concert will take place in the Ice Palace on May 25 and bring together Russian and foreign rock bands. Members of the cult band Rock September, which performed Alexander Bashlachev’s first songs in Cherepovets long ago, as well as bands from Estonia and Finland will perform. The singer Nikolay Noskov from Cherepovets will headline and Alexander Lipnitsky will present the concert.

      The second festival will be held on May 27, the very birthday of Alexander Bashlachev. Inna Zhelannaya, Yury Naumov, Mikhail Bashakov and other Russian musicians, including bands from Cherepovets will sing in the Builders’ Palace of Culture in the hometown of Alexander Bashlachev.

      Here the musicians and the audience will be able to communicate in informal atmosphere and commemorate Alexander Bashlachev.
