Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova says money is not the most important thing in her life. In an interview to the German Tennis Magazin, the tennis star said no-one knows how much she really earns.
She praised the virtues of a big fortune that she enjoys but dismissed the leading role of money. According to the eighth best player in the WTA rating, money can only make you happy for a short while. There are more important things, she insists, like family, friends, health and integrity.
According to http://www.mariasharapova.com, Maria has been knocked out of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome Italy in the third round. Maria lost 1-6 4-6 to No.11 seed Ana Ivanovic of Serbia in an hour and 16 minutes.
"Maria will now take a week off to prepare for the second Grand Slam of the year at the French Open in Paris which begins on May 25th," said the news report on her official website.
