On June 4 the EKATERINA Culture Foundation will open an exhibition of Oleg Tselkov, one of the leading Russian artists.
The event will be timed to the artist's 80th birthday.
Oleg Tselkov is one of the most vivid representatives of non-conformist Soviet art. He made his original and complicated way from underground exhibitions to world-wide fame. Today Oleg Tselkov is one of the most notable Russian artists on the world art stage.
The exhibition will present more than 45 works covering the period from 1968 to 2011. The paintings will be brought together from collections of the author, state museums and private collections. It is the first Moscow exposition to represent the artist’s creativity at full breath – from his early works to quite recent works.
The exhibition will be held from June 4 till August 10.
