Exhibition for 100th Anniversary of Yuri Andropov to Run in Moscow
Yuri Andropov

June 18 will see the opening of an exhibition timed to the 100th anniversary since the birth of Yuri Andropov, once the General Secretary of the USSR.

The exhibition will be held in the Federal Archives Exhibition Hall in Moscow.

The exposition based on an enormous collection of documentary and photographic materials traces the true life story of one of the leading politicians in the history of the Soviet state.

The biography of Yuri Andropov is still shrouded in mystery, whereas his activity is still a subject of historians' controversy.

The exhibition presents numerous historical objects and books, as well as documentary photographs brought together from various archival and museum organizations.

The exhibition will run till June 29.
