Afrofest 2014 Festival Comes to Moscow

AFROFEST – the festival of African peoples’ culture will be held in the Krasnaya Presnya Park on June 28 and 29.

This annual large-scale event is aimed at introducing the Russian citizens to the history, customs and traditions of Africa and promoting the culture of African peoples, as well as establishing new business contacts.

AFROFEST is an open noncommercial project, in the sense that means that anyone who feels like it can participate in the project. Noncommercial means that the earned income is spent on the festival development in particular, and on development of culture and arts as a whole.
