The Russian Museum in St. Petersburg will hold an exhibition of the well-known muralist Alexey Talashchuk.
It will present the artist’s oil paintings, water colors and enamels. All of these art works imply sophisticated intellectual and spiritual construction connecting past and future, classics and modernist style, statics and dynamics. The viewers cannot stay indifferent: emotional contact with them is set within a few seconds.
Cultural heritage of the Ancient East, India and Europe is what intrigues the author and stirs the viewers’ interesting. Every detail becomes significant, while images and plots exotic to the Russian culture are expressed in a new light in the stylistics of the Russian avant-garde of the early 20th century. This is what makes Alexey Talashchuk's innovative art so successful both in Russia and abroad.
The exhibition will be opened from June 26 to July 28.
