An archaeological museum of international level is planned to be founded in the Malta Settlement of the Irkutsk Region.

      Malta is a unique monument of the Paleolithic era. An ancient encampment was found there in the late 1920s. It harboured a grandiose architecture monument, which outshined lots of previous vivid finds. Exhibits from the Malta Site are kept in museums of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

      Besides, the Malta Settlement is famous for its mineral sources.
