The sanctions of the West against Russia do not hinder economic cooperation and trade with the UAE, ITAR-TASS reports. This was stated by the UAE Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri in an interview with the agency “The UAE observes international laws accepted by the United Nations. This is the way we treat such situations. So far I do not see any sanctions from the UN” - Al-Mansouri said at the economic summit of Russia and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. According to him, the events taking place in Russia affect the economy of the country having “balanced relations with the West and the East”.  Earlier the First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov stated that the development of economic relations between Russia and Asian countries, including the energy sector, does not mean that the similar cooperation with the United States and Europe will be curtailed.
