Russia Reduced Production Of Alcohol And Tobacco

According to the Rosstat materials, Russia has reduced production of alcohol and tobacco products in April of current year.

      In April, vodka production decreased by 15.4% to 4.9 million dekaliters (dal), cognac production fell by 16.2% to 526 dal. Table wine production fell by 6.2%, to 3.3 million dal. As for beer, production of beverages on its basis decreased by 3.4% to 75.9 million dal.

      Cigarette production decreased by 6.2%, amounting to 31.7 billion pieces.
