Perekopsky brothers claim 40 million rubles of "golden parachutes" from Vkontakte social network.
According to the materials of the Kuibyshev district court of St. Petersburg, Ilya Perekopsky, the former partner of VKontakte founder Pavel Durov sued the social network. Perekopsky's lawsuit was accepted for proceding on April 24. Initially, the trial was scheduled for May 28, but then postponed to June 9. Perekopsky demands Vkontakte to fulfill the labor contract signed with him a few years ago. By its terms, in the event of early termination of the employment contract the company had to pay Perekopsky the "golden parachute" of 20 million rubles.
A similar lawsuit was filed by Ilya Perekopsky’s brother Igor. Ilya Perekopsky was employed as VKontakte vice president until January 2014, Igor Perekopsky was the CFO of the social network.
