New modern expressways are planned to be placed closer to Moscow airports. Passengers will be able to get there much faster, but more expensive: travelling on these roads will be paid.

      Construction of one of these roads (to Sheremetyevo airport) has already begun. Currently Rosavtodor is working on the issue of charging drivers who head to Domodedovo. The department has received corresponding instruction a bit earlier. The options of toll roads were also discussed in the Ministry of Transport, where the air harbor administration forwarded its remarks incurred by the discussion. So far, the project details were not disclosed, but it is known that presence of a free alternative is mandatory for toll road construction, same as in other cases.
