Dwellers of the Kunashak District have found a few copper figurines on the bank of River Sinara.
The copper artifacts depict soldiers of the early nomads’ era. Two of the finds have been handed over to the regional museum of local lore.
The copper soldiers have direct similarities to twenty figurines from the so-called Sapogovo treasure found in 1900 by the peasant Govorukhin in the Yekaterinburg District of the Perm Province. He unearthed the treasure when plowing the land near Sapogovo Village (nowadays Novoburino Settlement of the Kunashak District). Ten of those ancient artifacts got to the Hermitage, some of them are kept in the Sverdlovsk Regional Museum of Local Lore and a few pieces were lost.
