Researchers from Russia, Kazakhstan and Japan will study effects of internal radiation on laboratory animals.
Professor Hoshi Masaharu from Japan, a leading expert in studying how radiation affects human beings and the environment, says it is the first time internal radiation effects will be analyzed, and scientists will understand what happens when living organisms are exposed to radiation and what happens to the internal organs.
The study will take place in Semey, a city in Kazakhstan. The results will be processed in Russia and Japan.
