According to statistics, sights of Astrakhan, Rostov and Volgograd attract about 2.5 thousands of tourists every year, reporters were told at the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Astrakhan Oblast.

      In this regard, it was decided to create a new "circular" tourist route in Russia, "The Steppe Ring" that will unite sights of Astrakhan, Rostov and Volgograd oblasts.

      It will be possible in one trip to see the lotus fields in the Astrakhan Oblast and visit the famous Sarai-Batu cultural complex. In Rostov-on-Don, tourists can walk on the Don waterfront with dancing fountain, where stand monuments to Gorky, Sholokhov and characters of his books: Grigory Melekhov Aksinya and grandfather Shchukar.

      In Volgograd, they will be able to visit Mamaev Kurgan; the museum-panorama "Battle of Stalingrad"; "Gasitel" fire boat; the House of Pavlov; planetariums and other popular places. We remind that in Russia, not so long ago besides "usual" Golden Ring, tourists have been able to discover the Golden Ring of Altai Krai as well. It passes through Biysk along Chuiski Trakt till Turquoise Katun special economic zone, then through Aya, Altai and Belokurikha settlements, Turprom reports.
