Last Sunday, Transaero Airlines carried out its first flight from Moscow to Mineralnye Vody on the largest passenger aircraft operated in the Russian Civil Aviation, Boeing 747-400.

      The flight UN 169/170 on Boeing 747-400 to be carried out Sundays from Moscow Domodedovo Airport till August 24 by low budget Discount class that will provide quite cheap tickets to Mineralnye Vody. Operating by Transaero the aircrafts, which accommodate 522 tourists, on Moscow – Mineralnye Vody line are to increase transport accessibility of Stavropol Krai resorts and meet as much as possible the growing demand of Russians for holidays on the territory of our country, as it was commented by carrier's press service.

      The fact that the first flight was carried almost full loaded indicates the high demand for the new product of Transaero. As a result, the company set a new record in the number of tourists carried from Moscow to Mineralnye Vody at a time.

      By the way, Boeing 747-400 received a grand welcome at Mineralnye Vody airport. Hydrant jets formed a welcoming arch. Transaero is the only operator of Boeing 747-400 passenger aircrafts in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe. The length of the aircraft is 70.6 m., wingspan 64.4 m., height 19.4 m., cruising speed 913 km/h, the maximum range is 13,450 km.
