Russian fans took the 18th place in the number of purchases made by Visa cards in Brazil. Russian fans took the 18th place in the number of purchases made by Visa cards at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. This was reported by the press service of the Visa Company.

      “The most part of all Visa card purchases was made by the guests from the United States, followed by visitors from the UK, France and Mexico” - the statement “Wherever You Aspire to Be” issued by Visa says. It is noted that “among the twenty countries whose guests paid by Visa most actively, the most significant increase in expenditures was recorded in such countries as Australia (835%), Colombia (765%), Chile (519%) and Mexico (396%)”, as compared with the same period in 2013. Russia showed the greatest growth. The increase of payments of Russian citizens by Visa in Brazil amounted to 850.8%.
