On June 20 the new partner of Moscow's Domodedovo Airport, Nordavia Airlines opened the air service between the Russian capital and Murmansk, the largest city in the world located above the Arctic Circle, the website of Domodedovo Airport reports.
Murmansk was the first destination of the flight program in the framework of Domodedovo and Nordavia cooperation. The flights to the regional center will be carried out three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Murmansk, the last city founded in the times of Russian Empire beckons visitors with its interesting history and severe temper. One of the main northern attractions is the harsh climate, but there is something that deserves more attention than frost. City with the title of the largest municipality in the world located above the Arctic Circle provokes interest for business trips as well: Murmansk is the country's important port, which receives a huge number of ships annually.
