Joint efforts of Russia and Italy will make possible the implementation of the "South Stream" project. It was stated by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov during a press conference after the business meeting with the Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini.

      "We have confirmed our dedication to the "South Stream" gas pipeline project. We reaffirmed our intention to stay active in resolving of all emerging issues, including such as the dialogue with the European Commission and subject to the intergovernmental agreements that  have been concluded by the countries participating in this project," Mr. Lavrov said.
