Pink Elephant Monument Set Up in Rostov

Pink Elephant sculpture has been set up in Rabochaya Square in Rostov.

The concrete sculpture created by the artist Zurab Machitadze is 4,5 meters high and 3,5 tons heavy.

As the city administration press service reports, the idea of the pink elephant monument was prompted by the Dream Yard project in one of the apartment houses in Rabochaya Square.

The funds for production and installation of the elephant were raised by members of the public organization Dream City. As a result one of Rostov companies provided four cubic meters of concrete, another company made the sculpture and the third one delivered it from Novocherkassk to Rostov, the municipal administration press service explained.
