The Tourist Police in Moscow started working from July, as Interfax reported.

As the Head of the Moscow Main Directorate of Internal Affairs Anatoly Yakunin earlier reported, the training of the Moscow Tourist Police staff that included courses in foreign languages and rules of communication with tourists was conducted in the first half of this year.

About 100 policemen patrolling the pedestrian zones in Moscow will help the tourists find their way in the city. The responsibilities of the policemen include ensuring the security of the guests of the capital and rendering help to tourists.
