The Tomsk Region governor Sergey Zhvachkin has decided to build a museum on the bank of River Tom.

An international contest for the best project was announced on July 7. Architects from France and Italy will also participate in the competition.

On August 8 the jury will announce five best project authors, who will be engaged in the museum design.

The museum will be adaptable for various age groups with a broad range of interests. Educational premises, a science and technology park, and an ice stadium will be part of the museum.
