Juris Jurjans Exhibition Opened In Moscow

In 2014 Riga is announced to be the cultural capital city of Europe.

      In this regard the Russian Academy of Arts, the Latvian Academy of Arts and the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in the Russian Federation present an exhibition of works by the well-known Latvian artist Prof. Juris Jurjans. The exhibition under the title ON OWL WINGS is timed to the 70th anniversary since his birth.

      The exposition contains about 70 canvasses, such as portraits, still lives, genre paintings and landscapes created by the artist since 1970.

      The exhibition runs in the Zurab Tsereteli Gallery of Arts (19, Prechistenka, Moscow) till August 24, 2014.
