New Bio-glue Produced In Tomsk

"BioEco" Company, one of the Tomsk Special Economic Zone residents, patented bio-adhesive, compliance of which with international standards was confirmed by experts.

Bio-glue is produced from side products of food processing – molasses and whey – by their biotechnological transformation using harmless microorganisms. Innovative product can serve as an alternative to expensive adhesives based on natural ingredients and environmentally unsafe synthetic adhesives, developers specified. Recently the laboratory stage on obtaining the bio-adhesive itself, the multicomponent composition on its basis and bio-plates without carbo-formaldehyde resins was completed. Products already received a patent in Russia for "Adhesive Composition", confirmation of international patent authority on technology novelty and conclusions of CSFP "Lessertika" testing laboratory.
