The motorcycle expedition the participants of which will overcome the 10,350-kilometers long way from Murmansk to Vladivostok started from Murmansk with the support of the Russian Geographical Society.

      "The main objective of the expedition is popularization of motorcycle tourism in our country. Great Russia 10,000 km is a unique opportunity  to visit Europe and Asia in one trip, to cross seven time zones, experience the features of different climate zones, and what is the most important, to gain unforgettable impressions with discovering of Russia and share them with the people of our great country," the expedition organizers Gennady Shatov and Vyacheslav Eremeyev said.

      Motorcycle expedition passes along the Murmansk - Vytegra - Kirov - Tyumen - Novosibirsk - Kansk - Irkutsk - Chita - Skovorodino - Khabarovsk - Vladivostok. The run motto, "Breathing the wind and living the road" is a direct guide to action and an appeal to share the feeling of freedom of travel across the vast expanses of Russia.
