Volkwagen Comes To Russia

German carmaker Volkswagen is due to sign an agreement with the Russian government on the construction of assembly facilities in the town of Stupino, Moscow Region.
      
      The initial plan has been approved, and the first cars to be assembled are expected to be Skoda Octavia.
      
      By 2011, the plant will reach its designed annual capacity of 250,000 cars.
