First Full-length Claimation to be Made in Russia

The first full-length claimation animated film Mad Planet will be created in Russia.

“It is an animation about open space adventures and it is meant for general public. It is claimation animation. The film tells a story about the worst space crew in the galaxy, two merry losers on a mission to fight against a mad live planet” - the art director of the project Sergey Merinov said.

According to him, the film makers are now close to the preproduction stage, with the script completed.

The producers hope to see the first full-length claimation very successful commercially. One of the possible film distributors is the Disney Company, which has already showed interest in the project.
