There is no beach in Myshkin. The town had two swimming places last year: the area of Rybolovka and the area of sands on Lesnaya. This year the innovations were introduced, as a blog on Myshkin says. According to the decree No. 100 of the administration of the urban settlement of Myshkin  “On the prohibition of swimming on the territory of the urban settlement of Myshkin”, swimming at the Volga river embankment in the area of Rybolovka Street is prohibited.

      This is connected with the water samples taken in the public places of mass unorganized recreation and swimming. According to the results of these studies, the water does not meet the sanitary requirements in microbiological indicators; the number of E. coli exceeded the standard level by 2.6 and 3 times, respectively.
