Museum on History of Aquarium Husbandry to Appear in Moscow

Real sharks, poisonous cramp fish, predatory piranhas and moray eels will make live scenery for the new museum.

Collections of ancient diving equipment and the Soviet aquarium equipment will be an integral part of the exhibition.

“The museum is meant for those who dream of running away from mundane earthly life in search of beauty at least for an hour or so”, - the project creator Valeria Pereverzeva explained.

The museum is located in 7, Arbat Street.  The exhibition has traveled around lots of cities already.  The museum is based on a twofold concept.  On the one hand, one can observe exotic fishes, turtles and other sea and fresh-water inhabitants there. One the other hand, it is a good opportunity and a captivating way to learn about the history of aquarium husbandry.
