Archeologists carried out excavations at the 58 km distance from Yakutsk and found a most ancient grave.
“On August 15 an ancient grave was found in the Hangalass District of Yakutia, about 58 kilometers away from Yakutsk. The man’s body was buried in the embryo pose. An interesting point is that it was buried without coffin or any funeral constructions. Such graves are known in archeology since the Paleolithic age” - Professor Rosalia Bravina, D.H. reported about it. “Archeologists have not established the age of the unusual grave. It will be possible as a result of radio carbohydrate tests and anthropological studies. Similar grave was earlier found in the center of Yakutsk, but no documents have remained”, - the scientists added. |
The buried body has traces of some iron detail left on its chest. “We will find out what it was by means of the typological analysis”, - Prof. Rosalia Bravina specified.
