Archeologists have dug out a range of artifacts of the 13th -18th centuries in Teterinskoye site of the Nerekhta District in the Kostroma Region.
In particular, weapons and coins make a solid part of the treasures.
In the area of 48 square meters the specialists found arrowheads, including Tatars’ and faceted, aka armour-piercing, arrows specifically intended for shooting soldiers in armors.|
Scientists give special value to coins, in particular, silver 10 kopek coins made in 1878, and coins that were in use in the mid 16th century.
Researchers also found lots of household items tentatively dated to the early and middle 15th century. These include fragments of clothes and ornaments; in particular, a silver cast button and a dark blue glass finger ring.
