Days of Culture of the Tatarstan Republic will be celebrated in Moscow.
The State Central Museum of the Modern History of Russia holds three exhibitions united into one project dedicated to the event.
The fine art collection is represented with works by the Tatar artists Ilyas Aydarov, Ayder Beshirov, Rinat Kuramshin, Ildar Mustafin, Eduard Shageev, and Rustam Yaushev.
The artists’ loyalty to classical art traditions and love of their ethnic culture were those integrating factors that made it possible to blend harmoniously a vivid variety of paintings, which are so different and original.
The exposition also includes manuscripts of the 16th – early 20th centuries. Original photos of Kazan of the late 19th – early 20th centuries make an integral part of the collection.
Visitors will see an array of traditional music instruments and traditional folk costumes of the Tatarstan Republic.
The exhibition will be held till September 3.
