A forest fire was recorded in the village of Dzhankhot of the Divnomorskoe District area near Gelendzhik on Monday morning, as the Emergencies Ministry reported. 3 hectares of forest have burned. The rescuers had to evacuate 30 people from the campsite near the fire.

      There is no other tourist accommodation in the vicinity of the fire, as tour operators claim. All organized tourists continue their holiday in Gelendzhik, no applications for early return were received. According to the Emergencies Ministry of the Krasnodar Territory, the extinguishing of the fire involves 360 people, 82 pieces of equipment, including 71 people of the Emergencies Ministry personnel and 16 units of their equipment. Monday evening,  the Emergencies Ministry did not report on its estimation of the fire localization: the fire is extinguished in a remote mountainous area. The vast majority of holidaymakers in Gelendzhik do not experience any discomfort due to the forest fire. Tourists continue to have rest at the resorts in the region.
