Vodka Museum that will include the recipes and alcoholic beverages created at the beginning of the last century will be founded in Mariinsk (Kemerovo Oblast), Sergei Sheshukov, the director of "Mariinsk Historical" museum-reserve informed the "Interfax-Siberia" Agency.
"Mariinsk is considered as region's vodka capital in some sense, since the city has two enterprises, large producers of alcohol. However, it is assumed that the museum exhibits will display not only contemporary drinks, but also those that have been made in Mariinsk since 1902, when we got state-owned wine stores," S. Sheshukov said. According to him, the museum workers have already addressed to local producers and Mariinsk residents to share their old recipes that were used in the production of vodka and other alcoholic beverages. In the museum a tasting room for the visitors will be open too.
