The city authorities have decided to build one hundred parks on the territories of Troitsky and Novomoskovsky Administrative Districts (TaNAD) instead of the planned 45, the website of the Moscow Urban Development and the Construction Complex reports. This was told by deputy head of the Department for Development of New Areas of the City of Moscow Pavel Perepelitsa.
According to him, it is necessary to study the international experience in creating large parks, including thematic ones, for application in Moscow's new areas. "To avoid turning of this hundred parks into a typical variety, unique concept will be developed for each territory: there will emerge promenade, recreational, historical, cultural, sports and children's and even archaeological, zoological and agricultural parks", P. Perepelitsa said. It is assumed that the New Moscow parks will have different purpose and area. In TaNAD will be laid out small landscaped 20-hectares green zones and large parks covering an area of about 3 thousand hectares.
