Voronezh antinarcotic police subducted more than 9 kilograms of marihuana from a local resident.
The drug load was kept by a 40-year-old unemployed man in a private house in the Rossosh District of the Voronezh Region. Marihuana was found practically everywhere, as workers of the Federal Drug Control Service reported. Hemp plants were dried on the floor and in wardrobes, whereas ready-to-use marihuana was hanging in packets around the house and hidden inside the furniture. According to the detainee, he prepared the reaped “crop” only for himself, as a reserve for the whole winter.
The man cultivated hemp in his garden right behind his house, where the police officers found several plants more. A criminal case has been opened against the detainee. For illegal cultivation of narcotic plants and storage of drugs he faces up to 10 years of imprisonment.
