Moscow Schoolboy Rescued Entire Village from Fire

The Moscow fifth-grader rescued an entire village and forest from fire in the Kursk Region

      
10-year-old Petya Biryukov, when having rest together with his parents, noticed fire, raised alarm and urged the adults to fight the fire.

      
It was dry grass blazing on a deserted plot and the fire was approaching the village fast. The Moscow schoolboy and his friends did not stand aside. Children took an active part in extinguishing the fire.  

      
The fire could be put out with the help of the fire-fighting crew. The rescuers recognized that it was Pyotr Biryukov who saved the village with his prompt action.
