The 27th Moscow International Book Exhibition Fair will take place in the All-Russia Exhibition Centre from September 3 to September 7.
A record number of publishers from 63 countries will take part in it, The Russian Newspaper reports.
This year the fair will be hinging on Forum of Slavic Cultures that will unite exposition of various Slavic publishing houses with a versatile cultural program. The Hundred Slavic Novels project expected in the framework of the festival will introduce visitors to the modern literature of Macedonia, Slovakia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Russia.
In addition to that, the visitors will have a chance to meet the well-known writers, such as Tatyana Tolstaya, Uenna Moritz, Vladimir Voynovich, Edward Radzinsky, Zakhar Prilepin, Dmitry Bykov, Sergey Lukyanenko, Lev Anninsky, Evgeny Vodolazkin, Maya Kucherskaya, Dmitry Glukhovsky, Max Frei, Maria Galina, Denis Dragunsky, Vera Polozkova, Victor Erofeyev, and many others.
The open-air multimedia festival Bookmarket will be held at the fair for the sixth time already. This year it will take place in the Krasnaya Presnya Recreation Park.
Traditionally Saturday will be the Day of Children's Reading. Young book lovers will participate in educational book festival with a range of workshops.
