Exhibition of Artist Valentin Vorobyov Opened in Moscow

The RGGU Museum Center holds the exhibition of works by Valentin Vorobyov.

The exhibition under the title Friend of the People includes sixty paintings and graphic art works by the artist, who is associated with the Second Russian Avant-garde, and is a witness of an entire historical period in the art life of Russia and the world.

The exhibition concept is to compare works created before the artist’s emigration to Paris and those created in Paris. The central place in the exposition is taken by the legendary canvas White Star once displayed at an exhibition that was dispersed with bulldozers.

The exhibition will be held till October 5.
