The Kolomenskoye Memorial Estate has opened an open-air exhibition of the modern sculpture.
The creative inspirer and curator of the project is Georgy Frangulyan.
In the run up to the Olympic Games Georgy Frangulyan and the Olympstroy chief architect Oleh Kharchenko were entrusted to make an art team for creating sculptural objects to be set up in the Olympic Park of Sochi. 47 Russian sculptors were selected in the competition. Unfortunately, the project was not implemented.
This exhibition presents 25 sculptors from the Olympic art tea.
The works displayed are not part of the Olympic project, but are the authors’ free choice, with a broad range of topics and materials.
