Artmosphere brings together artists whose works on house facades in world megalopolises from New York to Berlin have long become sights.
Monumental paintings on house walls and public art objects to appear in Moscow within this month, will be complemented with a retrospective by the American newspaper photographer Marta Cooper who tells the history of graffiti and street culture.
Six city facades will be painted by the artists Moneyless (Italy), Sat One (Germany), Momo (USA), 2501 (Italy), Nicolas Barom (France) and Erosie (Netherlands). A crystal-like four-meter sculpture by Okuda from Spain will be set up in the Museon Park.
The Artplay design center will be the venue of the Artmosphere’s main program (from September 6 to September 20), which will also embrace city facades, pedestrian areas, and public transport stops.
The special program will take place in the Ruarts Gallery, the Museum of Moscow, the State Gallery in Solyanka, and the Shchusev Architecture Museum from September 6 to October 15.
